If the defined target is not reached within the challenge period, the participation fee remains in the Challenge Pool and is distributed among participants who successfully meet the challenge criteria.

Challenges are designed to encourage participation and learning through experience. Even if you do not complete the target, the process can help you better understand what works for you and prepare you for your next commitment.

10. How do you verify the weight?

BodyBet uses in-app video verification for official weigh-ins.To participate in a weight-based challenge, you’ll be asked to complete an initial weigh-in at the start of the challenge and a final weigh-in at the end, within the required time windows.The in-app flow guides you step by step through the process.

11. What are the deadlines for submitting the initial and final weigh-ins?

The initial video weigh-in must be submitted within 48 hours after the challenge begins. The final weigh-in must be submitted within 24 hours after the challenge ends.

12. What happens if I miss an official weigh-in or submit it late?

Submission of required weigh-ins within the specified timeframes is mandatory for eligibility.

If a required weigh-in is missed, the participant is not eligible for the Challenge Pool distribution, unless mandatory consumer rights apply.

13. What happens if my weigh-in verification is rejected?

If your submission does not meet verification requirements, you may be asked to resubmit additional materials within a limited timeframe.

Failure to successfully complete verification may result in disqualification. Verification decisions are final for challenge administration purposes, subject to applicable law.

14. What kind of scale do I need?

Use a digital scale placed on a flat, hard surface. Using the same scale for both the initial and final weigh-ins is recommended whenever possible.

15. Is there a dress code for weigh-ins?

Yes. Official weigh-ins must be completed in lightweight indoor clothing, without shoes or accessories. Using similar clothing for both weigh-ins is recommended whenever possible.

16. Is my weight or verification video public?

No. Verification videos and weight data are not public. They are used solely for verification and platform integrity purposes and are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Other users do not have access to your weigh-in materials.

17. What happens if I cheat or submit false information?

BodyBet has a zero-tolerance policy for cheating. Submitting false information, manipulating verification materials, or attempting to bypass rules may result in immediate disqualification, loss of eligibility for rewards, and account restrictions, in accordance with the Terms of Use and Official Rules.

18. Am I competing against other users?

No. BodyBet challenges are designed around Personal Commitment to your own goal, not competition against other participants.

Rewards are shared among participants who successfully meet the challenge criteria. BodyBet is designed to encourage accountability and community support, rather than competitive or adversarial behavior.

19. What are BB Points?

BB Points are BodyBet’s internal, non-monetary accounting units used to record challenge participation, results, and reward eligibility within the platform.

BB Points:• are not money, electronic money, cryptocurrency, or a financial instrument;• have no value outside the BodyBet platform;• cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged with other users.

BB Points may be used to join future challenges or to request a payout in accordance with the Terms of Use, subject to applicable conditions, verification, and thresholds.

For payout purposes, a reference rate of 1 BB Point = 1 euro is used solely for internal accounting. BB Points exist only within the BodyBet platform and do not constitute money or a financial instrument.

20. What is the BodyBet Stage (BB Stage)?

The BodyBet Stage (BB Stage) is a non-monetary, internal status indicator that represents a user’s current level of experience and readiness in the app. It reflects a user’s engagement, consistency, and participation history on the platform.

The BB Stage is system-calculated and based on accumulated BB Steps and long-term participation patterns. It is used for informational and administrative purposes and may help guide users toward challenges that better match their readiness and experience level.

The BB Stage may be used to:

display progress;

guide users toward appropriate challenges;

support platform integrity, trust, and moderation.

The BB Stage does not guarantee rewards, rankings, payouts, or access to specific challenges and may be adjusted, limited, or discontinued at any time at BodyBet’s discretion.

21. What are the BodyBet Steps (BB Steps)?

BB Steps are non-monetary engagement units earned through participation and consistency within the app.

They are accumulated through challenge participation, mini-challenges, streaks, and sustained activity over time, and are designed to support habit building and long-term engagement.

BB Steps have no direct cash value. They exist to reflect experience, reliability, and consistency rather than short-term outcomes.

22. What is BodyBet’s cut of the Challenge Pool?

The Challenge Pool is the total amount of BB Points placed by all participants when joining a challenge. BodyBet applies a platform service fee to support challenge administration, verification, security, and platform operations.

The service fee depends on the challenge format and the number of participants who successfully meet the challenge criteria, and may vary between 10% and 25%.

23. What happens if everyone reaches their goal in a BodyBet challenge?

If all participants successfully meet the challenge criteria, the Challenge Pool is distributed among all eligible participants. Participants may receive an amount equal to their participation fee. In such cases, BodyBet may, at its discretion, reduce or waive the platform service fee in certain cases.

24. How are payouts processed?

When a challenge is successfully completed, rewards are credited to your account as BB Points, BodyBet’s internal, non-monetary accounting units.

BB Points may be used to join future challenges or to request a payout, in accordance with the Terms of Use and subject to applicable conditions and verification.

Payouts are processed primarily through Wise or other payment methods made available by BodyBet, regardless of the payment method originally used to join a challenge.

There is no minimum payout threshold. However, payout requests below €60 are subject to a €5 Bodybet handling fee, which is deducted from the payout amount. Payout requests of €60 or more are processed without a BodyBet handling fee.

Depending on the selected payout method, currency, and receiving bank, third-party transfer or conversion fees may apply. Such fees are charged by payment providers or banks and are borne by the user. BodyBet does not control these fees.

BodyBet may update payout thresholds or handling fees from time to time. Any such changes will be disclosed in advance and will apply prospectively only.

Processing times are estimates and may vary. Delays may occur due to verification requirements, provider policies, or regulatory checks.

25. Can I get a refund?

Participation fees are generally non-refundable once a challenge begins, as the digital service has started.

Refunds are not issued for missed weigh-ins, disqualification, failure to meet the challenge goal, or violations of the challenge rules.

Limited exceptions apply only where required by mandatory consumer protection laws, such as in cases of duplicate charges or verified technical errors occurring before a challenge begins.

26. Why does BodyBet require a participation fee?

The participation fee represents a user’s Personal Commitment to a challenge. It is a voluntary amount of BB Points placed into the Challenge Pool when joining.

This commitment serves as a personal accountability mechanism, encouraging participants to stay engaged and complete the challenge rather than giving up halfway.

27. Is BodyBet safe?

BodyBet is not a medical service and is not intended for rapid or extreme weight loss. Challenges focus on building sustainable habits and a mindful approach rather than quick results.

Participation is always voluntary. If you have any health concerns or limitations, you are encouraged to consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating.

28. Can I participate if I am pregnant?

No. Participation in weight-loss and weight-maintenance challenges during pregnancy is not permitted for safety and eligibility reasons.

29. Can I join multiple challenges at the same time?

Yes. You can participate in multiple challenges at the same time, subject to the rules and conditions of each challenge.

30. Is BodyBet available worldwide?

Availability depends on local laws and regulations. As a result, some challenges, features, or services may not be accessible in certain jurisdictions.

31. What if BodyBet becomes unavailable in my country?
